Renting a room costs between RM 500 and RM 1,200 (approx. $110 - $260 USD) per month depending on whether it is a shared room or a private master bedroom.
2. Dining & Food Budget
Malaysia is a food lover's paradise. You can eat at local "mamak" stalls, Chinese coffee shops, or Indian restaurants for RM 8 to RM 15 ($2 - $4 USD) per meal. ⚠️ Strict Rules on Part-Time Work
In Malaysia, international students are only allowed to work part-time during semester breaks or holidays of more than 7 days, up to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
